Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 27, 2026 · Last updated: April 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Boothly Events, LLC (“Boothly Events,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit https://www.boothlyevents.com, request a quote, book a photo booth rental, or interact with our photo booth at an event.
1. Who we are
Boothly Events, LLC is a Texas limited liability company that provides mobile photo booth rental services throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. We are a virtual / mobile business and do not operate a public storefront. You can reach us at events@boothlyevents.com or (855) 757-2900.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Booking information: name, email address, phone number, event date, venue, headcount, and event details you submit through our quote form, booking concierge, or by phone or email.
- Payment information: we use third-party payment processors to handle deposits and final payments. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Photos and digital sharing: at events, guests can choose to text, email, or AirDrop their photo strips. If a guest enters a phone number or email at the booth to receive a copy, that contact info is used solely to deliver their photo and is not added to any marketing list.
- Communications: records of emails, text messages, and call notes related to your event.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, referring URL, device type, browser, approximate location (city / region), and timestamps. Collected via standard server logs and analytics cookies.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use first-party and third-party cookies for site functionality, analytics, and (where applicable) advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may not function correctly.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, send quotes, and book events.
- To deliver photo booth services at your event, including photo gallery delivery.
- To process payments, deposits, and balances.
- To improve our website, services, and customer experience.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce contracts, and protect our rights.
- With your consent, to send promotional emails or text messages. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the business:
- Service providers: payment processors, hosting and analytics providers, email and SMS platforms, and the photo booth software we use to deliver galleries and prints.
- Legal: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Boothly Events, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition.
5. Photo booth galleries and image rights
Boothly Events runs its photo booth experience on Lumabooth. Photos taken at your event are processed through Lumabooth and delivered to you as the host through a private online gallery after the event.
5.1 Online gallery retention (up to 7 days)
Your event’s online photo gallery is retained on our hosted gallery platform for up to seven (7) days after the event. Hosts and guests should download or save any photos they wish to keep within that window. After the seven-day period, the online gallery is taken down. You may request a one-time gallery extension or a fresh export by emailing events@boothlyevents.com while the gallery is still live.
5.2 Social media waiver and photo use
By booking with Boothly Events, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use a limited selection of photos taken at your event on our social media channels and marketing materials, subject to the courtesies below. When we share event work on social media we follow these rules:
- Never the day of the event. We do not post photos from your event on the same day. We give the host time to share their own content first.
- Neutral framing. We deliberately select photos that capture the least specific location, venue branding, and identifying personal details we can - so the social post reads as Boothly’s craft, not as an exposé of who attended your event or where it was held.
- No tagging without consent. We will not tag the host, individual guests, or the venue without permission from the parties involved.
- Take-down on request. If you or a guest in a photo asks us to take down a specific post, we will remove it from our channels promptly upon written request to events@boothlyevents.com.
You may opt out of social media use entirely by emailing events@boothlyevents.com at least seven (7) days before your event. We will still use the photos internally for portfolio and quality review.
6. Data retention
We retain booking and event records (contracts, invoices, communications) for as long as needed to provide services, comply with tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Event photo galleries hosted online are retained for up to seven (7) days after the event as described in Section 5.1; a small archive copy may be kept offline for our own quality review and portfolio purposes.
7. Your choices
- You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.
- You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP.
- Texas residents and residents of states with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know what data we hold, request deletion, and request that we stop selling or sharing personal information (which we do not do for monetary value in any case).
8. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information transmitted to or from our website.
10. Third-party links
Our website may include links to third-party websites and embedded social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
11. Changes to this policy
